With most of the Senior and Community Leagues playing their final H&A games this weekend, the regular Wednesday umpire training is being replaced with something very significant event – The 2022 Umpires Games.
The AFL Canberra Umpires 'Chef De Mission' Murray Lembit will be front and centre on the oval at 6pm to give his inspirational team address to a combined session for both Junior and Senior Umpires. Followed by a series of events and challenges designed to show the best of what Canberra Umpires have to offer.
After the games concluded and the champions declared (circa 7:10pm), the Association will be providing the dinner of champions to aid celebrations and recovery- hot dogs!
So all umpires should make sure they get to EPC Solar Park by 6pm for a fun night. And don't forget to wear your team colours!
