We said there was “More in Store in 2024” and since we announced our major sponsorship with Fortis Physiotherapy in January we can now confirm two further sponsorships.

Modena Appliances

Life Member and former President Andrew Toy has confirmed Modena are continuing their sponsorship of the AFLCUA for a second season.

Last year Andrew, in addition to sponsoring one of our monthly BBQ’s, provided the Association with a new oven and fridge which certainly made our life easier when catering our monthly events.

This season Modena will be sponsoring our Annual Life Member Event helping us continue to build on the bonds and sense of community that was generated during our inaugural event in 2023.

The Walking Clinic

Ricky from The Walking Clinic has recently agreed to a three-year sponsorship of the AFLCUA, and confirmed that they will be sponsoring our involvement in the AFL Canberra Pride Round (15 June).

This involvement will see umpires given the opportunity to wear the official AFL Pride rainbow sweatbands (field and boundary), and use the official AFL rainbow flags (goal umpires). Participation in Pride Round activities is not compulsory and more details will be provided closer to the event.
